Council Creek South is on the east shore of Lake Buchanan, the largest of the Highland Lakes. Lots range from about four tenths of an acre to an acre and a half. The POA is optional, with a small mandatory maintenance fee that keeps up the boat ramp, park and pier.
Utilities are private well and septic. Recent custom homes here have sold in the high 700s to low 900s, and vacant lots range from a few thousand dollars for interior sites to well into six figures on the water.

Lake lots are about the view and the water access, and Lake Buchanan's level changes with the drought cycle, so we design the house and the dock for the range rather than the high-water mark. Our Matthew, John and Timothy plans fit the smaller lots here; on an acre or more, the larger plans work too.
Well and septic on a lake lot get extra care. We get the septic evaluation early and keep the field well back from the water.
