Demitri has spent close to twenty years building in Central Texas. He started Makarios because the same three things kept going wrong on other people's projects: nobody talked about the budget until it was too late, nobody could tell the client what was happening next, and nobody was around to walk them through the hundreds of decisions a custom home takes.
So he built a company that does all three: budget guidance before design, a milestone schedule you can follow, and one person to call from the first conversation to the day you move in.

We named the company after the feeling we want you to have the first time you walk through the front door of your finished house, and every day after.
Our story.
Makarios started as a fix for the gaps Demitri kept seeing on custom builds: nobody communicating, budgets that surprised people, and clients left to figure things out alone. After close to twenty years in Central Texas construction, he put planning, design, budgeting and construction under one company so there was no gap between vendors for a problem to fall into.
Today we build custom homes in Leander and the communities around it, on our clients' lots and on lots we help them find. We do commercial work too, and a lot of our scheduling habits came from that side of the business.
